Responsibilities

Has expert knowledge of the process of combining executive compensation knowledge of business/industry to recommend solutions to both private and public companies
Has expert knowledge of application of standards in Compensation & Benefits specialty and recognized as industry expert
Has a working knowledge of the tax issues related to executive compensation including Sections 280G, 162(m) and 409A
Introduces and develops new or improved ideas to improve the Firm or Firm personnel
Designs and implements compensation and benefit structures
Consistently makes suggestions as to how previous work products or approaches can be improved
Experiments and develops promising new strategies and ideas
Presents complex strategies to clients and prospective clients
Leads marketing campaigns
Presents to Boards and management on recommendations of compensation and benefit structures
Advises clients of the firm on executive pay principles grounded in best practice
Tailors compensation programs for clients of the Firm to effectively meet client needs
Provides Firm clients with appropriate pay data aligned with key business initiatives and benchmarked across the industry
Supervises the day-to-day workload of STS GES Associates and Managers on assigned engagements and reviews work product

Required

Bachelor's degree, required
Has expert knowledge of the process of combining executive compensation knowledge of business/industry to recommend solutions to both private and public companies

Possesses excellent people development and delegation skills, including training/instruction
Possesses executive presence - needs to be able to be primary contact for the client, prepare and present presentations to clients and potential clients
Possesses excellent client development/relationship-building skills
Possesses excellent decision-making skills
Ability to supervise and review work of associates, senior associates, and managers
Ability to develop and manage team

Preferred

MST/MBT, preferred
Eight (8) or more years of prior work experience, preferred
Leader/strong involvement in community preferred
