Tenure-Track Assistant Professor in Chemical Engineering
Florida Institute of Technology is an independent technological university located in Melbourne, Florida. They are seeking a full-time tenure-track faculty member at the Assistant Professor level in the Department of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, who will develop an independent research program and contribute to teaching and curriculum development.

Qualification
Required
B.S. in Chemical Engineering
Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering or a closely related engineering field
Outstanding record of research accomplishments as evidenced by high-impact scholarly publications
Strong potential to attract external research funding
Professional ethics
Strong interpersonal skills
Excellent verbal/written communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues both within and outside the department
Commitment to teaching excellence at both undergraduate and graduate levels
Ability to develop an independent externally funded research program
Contribution to curriculum development
Quality service to the department, the university, and the Chemical Engineering profession
Preferred
Expertise in computational chemical engineering in the areas of multi-scale modeling, molecular simulation, process optimization, data science, artificial intelligence, and machine learning
