Responsibilities

To rack & patch all telephony installs within the environment to documented standards
To perform physical upgrades to hardware on site
Resolve all tickets within SLA
To maintain the documentation when installs / decommissions occur
To manage all installs those are performed by 3rd parties
To manage & document all circuits that enter the data centers’
Capacity monitor & design structured data cable routes
To manage & document the physical destruction of data devices
To document & perform SRC SOX tasks
To create change tickets for any work completed
To escort known vendors when working in data center
Ensure health & safety standards are adhered to in the data centers
Working in partnership with 3rd parties to make sure the infrastructure that supports the telephony service is fit for purpose
Responsible for testing and troubleshooting of all telephony systems including call centers
Working with 3rd party providers to complete work in satellite locations
Provide assistance to lower level telephony engineers
SME in at least one telephone platform
Represent and take ownership of project as related to telephony systems
