Responsibilities
Focus on fresh, creative approaches on every claim
Determine on each claim the need for attorneys, surveillance, and nurse case managers, and then assign, direct, and monitor the vendor
Communicate effectively and develop strong relationships with their team members
Gain consensus from our insureds regarding claim strategies
Ensure compliance with required statutes and regulations
Qualification
Required
A minimum of 10 to 13 years of diverse experience in Tennessee and Kentucky workers' compensation claims handling is required
Minimum of 4 to 6 years of claims leadership experience managing claim adjusters in Tennessee and Kentucky is required
Solid background in coverage analysis, reserving, claims investigation, and litigation management is required
Prior work with large or national accounts is required
Preferred
Bachelor's degree preferred
Candidate location in Tennessee or Kentucky is preferred but not required
