Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and grow a team of frontend engineers, providing technical guidance, career development, and performance feedback
Drive the frontend strategy and architecture across web and mobile applications
Ensure delivery of high-quality, scalable, and performant applications using modern web (and mobile) frameworks
Establish engineering best practices: code quality, testing automation, CI/CD, observability, performance monitoring, and accessibility
Partner with product and design teams to define requirements, prioritize roadmaps, and ensure cohesive user experiences across platforms
Contribute hands-on to the codebase where needed, while maintaining a high-level view of system design and technical direction
Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and technical excellence
Qualification
Required
8+ years of professional experience in frontend engineering, with a strong focus on building and scaling modern web applications
Deep expertise with big frameworks or framework knowledge in general and TypeScript, plus solid knowledge of at least one other major web framework (Vue, React, Angular, Svelte)
Production experience with big frameworks or framework knowledge in general, with a good understanding of mobile release cycles and cross-platform challenges
Proven leadership experience: mentoring engineers, leading technical initiatives, and managing teams or projects
Strong understanding of frontend architecture patterns, API integration, state management, and performance optimization
Hands-on experience with CI/CD systems, build tooling, testing frameworks, and code quality enforcement
Excellent communication skills and the ability to align technical strategy with business and product needs
Previous experience in a hybrid Tech Lead + Manager role, balancing hands-on technical work with people leadership
Proven experience in developing enterprise applications as part of a product team
Preferred
Experience with native iOS and/or Android development (nice to have, but not required)
Familiarity with release automation, feature flagging, and experimentation platforms
Background working in environments that include backend APIs, serverless applications, or real-time/IoT integrations
Experience with hybrid web applications (shared components, webviews, other technologies)
Exposure to compliance or security frameworks (SOC 2, GDPR, ISO 27001, etc.)
