Responsibilities
Serve as the main contact responsible for producing and coordinating financial documentation, working closely with the internal portfolio management group and their external partners (which may include debt providers, equity partners, independent auditors, and specialized consultants)
Prepare the quarterly interim and annual comprehensive financial statements for a designated group of project financing vehicles or partnerships
Responsible for preparing and maintain the rolling 12-month cash flow forecast, ensuring that all models are accurate and up-to-date to support strategic liquidity decisions
Take accountability for maintaining the detailed, accurate trial balances for all assigned financing entities and partnerships
Supervise the analytical review of the financial performance for assigned projects and communicate those results clearly to internal leadership and key external stakeholders
Calculate and submit the required periodic debt service coverage reports for the corresponding project and portfolio financing structures
Develop a strong subject matter knowledge of the assigned projects and portfolios by thoroughly analyzing related financing and partnership contracts
Ensure full compliance with all specific debt covenants and integrate any new or updated applicable accounting standards into reporting
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree with a focus in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
A minimum of 5 years of increasingly complex Accounting / Financial Reporting Experience or 3 years of experience in Public Accounting (such as a Big Four or large regional firm)
Expert technical skills and practical experience with U.S. GAAP
Demonstrated ability to apply fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures of accounting and finance
Familiarity with specialized financial planning software (e.g., OneStream, Cubes) and data query tools
Proficiency in utilizing Microsoft Office products, including advanced features in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Prior experience with company consolidation and accounting for partnerships or limited liability company structures
Ability to take full ownership of assigned tasks, act as a subject matter expert, recommend best practices, and clearly explain complex topics to management
