Responsibilities
Drive the design, development, and implementation of Enterprise Encryption Solutions, Hardware Security Modules (HSMs), and centralized key management processes and procedures
Provide subject matter expertise when applying security concepts
Leverage technical knowledge and industry experience to design, build, and implement technology solutions
Determine the impact on existing solutions when new standards are implemented
Develop and implement cryptographic solutions
Manage HSM lifecycle activities – Initialize, configure, update hardware/software, tamper, and decommission
Develop documentation
Be responsible for deliverables related to project timelines
Oversee Secure Room operations and management
Share knowledge with staff
Conduct security assessments and other information security routines consistently
Investigate and recommend corrective actions for data security related to established guidelines
Develop policies and procedures to standardize security functions and eliminate potential vulnerabilities and threats
Qualification
Required
Experience in HSM solutions (Thales Network HSM, Backup and USB HSMs, Cloud HSM backup solutions), and nShield HSMs
Experience in Encryption Key Lifecycle Management, key ceremonies, dual control, and chain of custody processes
Knowledge of Cryptography, encryption, and algorithms
Familiarity with scripting languages
Knowledge of Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, LogScale, Dynatrace, PowerBI, and Microsoft suite
Knowledge of Thales CipherTrust Manager, CipherTrust Cloud Key Manager (CCKM), and Oracle Key Vault
Knowledge of Bring Your Own Key (BYOK) and Hold Your Own Key (HYOK) solutions in Azure, AWS, or GCP
Competencies in Analytical Thinking, Effective Communications, Information Assurance, Information Security Management, Information Security Technologies, IT Environment, IT Standards, Procedures & Policies, IT Systems Management, Knowledge of Organization, Problem Solving, Software Security Assurance
