As an entry level Civil Engineer (Transportation), you will work on various projects including traffic planning and roadway design while receiving mentorship from senior engineers.

Civil Engineering

Responsibilities

Receive mentorship and guidance from senior level Civil Engineers through a variety of civil engineering projects
Perform redlines on project drawings, pull technical reports and complete quantity calculations and assist with project cost estimates
Collaborate and communicate effectively with project teams such as CAD designers, engineers, subcontractors to complete projects safely, on time, and with high quality
Assist in client contact and communications
May include onsite construction observation duties during the construction phase of projects

Required

Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or related Engineering degree
0-3 years of experience in Civil Engineering
Working knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local codes
Valid driver's license with a good driving record

Preferred

Experience in the design and construction of state DOT and county highway projects
Experience operating MicroStation, Geopak, and/or AutoCAD
