They are seeking an Onshape Software Development Intern to help improve the Onshape CAD system, focusing on user-facing functionality and infrastructure, particularly in the Drawings module. Interns will work on various projects that will be deployed to customers, gaining real-world experience in a full-fledged development team environment.

Responsibilities

Develop new code to improve Onshape

Work with UX to figure out how new functionality should work

Participate in the code review process both as reviewer and reviewee

Fix bugs both in your new code and in existing code

Qualification

JavaScriptJavaC++Geometric computationSoftware engineering team experience

Required

Must be enrolled in some type of degree program in one of the following or related fields: Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science

Comfort with at least two of (JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, C++)

Experience working on a software engineering team

Preferred

Experience with geometric computation is a plus
