Responsibilities
Operates the CT scanner to obtain diagnostic scans utilizing the scope of practice for medical imaging as defined by ARRT and ASRT and in compliance with the Ohio Department of Heath rules and regulations
Reviews each examination for technical accuracy
Proficient at transmitting images to PACS and scanning in appropriate documents
Rotates CT call
Checks for expiration dates on supplies and disposes of expired items
75% attendance at department meetings
Schedules patients in conjunction with the Outpatient Scheduling Department
Maintains compliance in RQI
Assumes all other duties and responsibilities as necessary
Qualification
Required
Two years post high school education
Current radiologic licensure from the State of Ohio Department of Health and ARRT registered required
CT Technologist certification is requested within 2 years and required at 3 years
BLS certification required
Preferred
Interpersonal and communication skills
Knowledge of computer
