Responsibilities

All Essential Functions listed on the Project Engineer (Energy Products) Job Description
Assists the Engineering Manager in supporting Energy Products Sales bid and proposal activities
Assists the Engineering Manager in providing department personnel training
Participates and represents EP Project Engineering on cross functional teams
Assists the Engineering Manager in supervising day-to-day EP Project Engineering functions
Review of specifications for compliance with proposed design
Preparation and release of design drawings and procedures
Preparation and review of design and qualification reports
Direction of qualification test programs
Interpretation of applicable customer specifications and industry codes (ASME BPVC, ASTM, ANSI, AMS, IEEE, etc.)
Disposition of non-complying equipment in a timely manner
Resolution of assembly and test problems
Supports Energy Products Sales bid and proposal activities
Provide technical support for customers as required
Ensure all project technical requirements are captured on the project’s bill of material
Additional responsibilities as assigned by Manager/Supervisor

Required

Ten (10) years of valve and/or power plant experience
Must be a US citizen
Knowledge of valve products and industry requirements
Comprehensive knowledge of configuration management and design control
Working knowledge of applicable ASME and other codes
Strong analytical and decision-making skills
Knowledge of computer programs such as Microsoft Office Suite, Mathcad, and ANSYS
Must possess the mental capacity to comprehend information provided daily and make own decisions
Four (4) year Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Nuclear)
