Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end execution of control-system projects, including I/O design, PLC/SCADA configuration, network architecture, and FAT/SAT testing
Direct field teams and subcontractors during installation and commissioning; troubleshoot PLC, HMI, and instrumentation issues
Review I/O lists, P&IDs, wiring diagrams, and network drawings for accuracy and QMS compliance
Act as the primary technical point of contact for clients and trade partners
Mentor junior engineers, redline design packages, and promote Thermo’s Quality Management standards
Identify scope risks, manage change-order opportunities, and maintain communication with PMs and leadership

Required

B.S. in Electrical, Mechanical, Computer, or Controls Engineering—or equivalent technical experience
2–4+ years of control-system engineering, including PLC/SCADA design, integration, and commissioning
AVEVA System Platform, Ignition, PLC/PAC programming, networked OT systems, and troubleshooting
Effective communicator, organized, calm under pressure, and collaborative in cross-functional environments
Valid driver's license, eligibility to work in the U.S., and ability to meet fit-for-duty standards
