They are seeking an AutoCAD Designer/Drafter who will be responsible for creating detailed drawings and designs, collaborating with teams to maintain high-quality work, and ensuring timely completion of engineering tasks.

Responsibilities
Drafting of drawings using CAD software or other software
Working with the AutoCAD team to develop and maintain accurate, high-quality work in accordance with company standards
A solid understanding of sheet metal thickness and material used to apply to blueprints
Assisting design teams by creating detailed sketches for projects that are not only visually appealing but also functionally attractive
Designing construction documents as needed, including drawing layouts, specifications and other documentation related to project scope or task
Coordinate all aspects of engineering tasks on time while maintaining accuracy and timeliness
Input data from a building quote form into MBS (Metal Building Software)
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Associates degree in Drafting
2 years' experience as a design drafter or a similar role
AutoCAD (required)
Highly organized, self-motivated
Proficient in math, analytical abilities, and problem-solving skills
Must be able to effectively and accurately read a tape measure
Ability to read and understand blueprints/technical drawings
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measurement
Time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Must be able to communicate effectively both written and verbal
Regular and predictable attendance is required
Ability to stand, walk and sit for extended periods
Employee must be able to read, hear and speak English
