Responsibilities

Engage with users to develop an understanding of the most important problems to be solved
Collaborate effectively with design and engineering peers to lead product development
Create artefacts such as product vision, roadmaps and memos to effectively engage and align stakeholders
Set product goals, demonstrate strong ownership of outcomes, and promote long term value to clients
Communicate actively using multiple forums across all levels of stakeholders to aid transparency in progress, prioritization, feedback and adoption
Engage with and influence stakeholders outside direct control to advance product objectives
Breakdown complex problems to smaller pieces of value, with an emphasis on creating backlogs that support the product roadmap
Demonstrate strong facilitation skills by bringing together diverse set of engineering teams and users to solve problems in a timely manner
Show strong initiative in learning and improving knowledge about the problem domain
Demonstrate thought leadership and influence outcomes by challenging status quo wherever applicable
Identify success criteria and use metrics to measure impact – demonstrate agility to meet product goals

Required

A bachelor's degree in Engineering or higher degree is preferred; overall 3-6 years of experience
Demonstrated success collaborating with design and engineering peers to lead a product development team
At least 2 years of full cycle product management experience, including experience executing the product vision, design, and adoption strategy
Demonstrated ability to engage with users, understand complex problems and technical architectures
Experienced in collaborating with design and engineering peers when designing solutions and building products
Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams and demonstrate leadership without direct authority
Exceptional written and in-person communication skills and ability to adapt message based on audience
Comfortable with Agile processes, backlog management and in using SDLC tools
Attention to detail, analytical skills and tenacious in setting high product quality standards

Preferred

Knowledge of multiple functional areas such as product management, engineering, user experience, user research, competitive analysis of products and customer support
Experience in managing an entire product's lifecycle, from conception to launch
Familiar with machine learning and data products would be added advantage
