Responsibilities
Perform as a skilled team member in the continuous improvement of all facilities maintenance tasks
Ensure that all work is performed safely and to the client’s standard
Basic carpentry, painting, plumbing, and basic electrical systems throughout the facility
Work flexible shifts and be subject to overtime
Practice safety conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures; comply with all customer rules, safety procedures, and policies
Qualification
Required
Possess the ability to use the English language to communicate (both verbally and in writing) accurately and concisely on technical matters
Be a team player with a positive attitude
Plumbing: Installation/Repair of PVC piping, clearing drains, repairing leaks
Electrical: Installation/Repair of basic electrical components (receptacles, lights, etc)
Repair and maintain air compressors
Ability to work independently
Have a complete set of basic hand tools
Ability to stoop, bend, manipulate tools in small spaces
Perform work at heights
Must be able to complete hiring paperwork electronically through DocuSign
May be required to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds
Must possess enough strength and stamina to perform the technical duties and essential functions as identified above
Must be able to move in and around confined spaces and uneven areas
Must have full range of motion consistent with age
Must be able to climb and maintain balance ladders
Must be able to adequately hear and respond to voice commands and alerts from other employees, alarms and other job-related noises
Visual acuity, depth perception and color discrimination consistent with that required to work at heights and on uneven surfaces
Safety/Steel toe shoes are required
Preferred
2+ years facilities maintenance experience
Carpentry, concrete work, and/or heavy equipment operator experience a plus
Fire suppression system experience a plus
Air compressor experience preferred
