Responsibilities

Work closely with team members to review literature and patents
Design and execute a technical learning plan
Develop enzymatic approaches for synthesis of biopolymers for desired performance
Report findings to team members and key stakeholders with recommendations for next steps

Required

Education: Working towards a PhD in Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Organic chemistry, Bioengineering, or a related field
Proven experience in biocatalysis or enzymatic synthesis of small molecules or polymers and analytical characterization
Available to work a 12-week internship from May/early June to August in the summer of 2026
Ability to work 5 days a week (M-F) in our Mason, Ohio location
