Propulsion Technician (Falcon Valves)
SpaceX is actively developing technologies to enable human life on Mars. The Propulsion Technician will be responsible for building and testing valves, regulators, and actuators, ensuring high standards of build quality, and collaborating with engineers to maintain safety and efficiency in operations.

Responsibilities
Build and test valves, regulators, and actuators
Use precision tools to measure and verify parts tolerances
Ensure the safety of daily operations by maintaining a high attention to detail
Collaborate and cooperate with team members to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly targets
Maintain a professional and neat work area
Perform work according to procedures, specifications and test instructions
Record daily work completion accurately to report to the lead technician
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalency certificate
1+ years of experience in hardware assembly, test, maintenance, material handling, and/or installation; OR certificate from an accredited trade skills program in A&P, manufacturing, and/or electronics
Must be willing to work all shifts, overtime, and/or weekends as needed
Able to lift 25 lbs. unassisted
Preferred
Knowledge of basic hand tools, calibrated equipment such as torque wrenches, dial calipers, multimeters
Experience in automotive, power sports, diesel/ industrial technologies, aerospace or similar industry
Experience with basic shop tools such as lathes, hydraulic press, drills, inspection tools
Ability to read digital/ analog tooling (e.g. torque wrench, pressure gauges, and calipers)
Strong technical aptitude/ ability to problem solve and corroborate ideas to deal with day to day challenges
Ability to learn how things work and why they need to perform as intended, and follow safety procedures
Basic computer skills, strong written and verbal communication skills
