The CS PLC Technical Support Engineer will ensure the effective deployment and operation of PLC systems, providing technical support and leading the commissioning process for customer sites.

Responsibilities

Ensure the effective deployment and operation of Profinet monitoring systems to enhance warehouse automation and control
Oversee and manage PLC systems for customer sites, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. Address and resolve issues related to PLC systems as reported by customers, providing technical support and solutions
Lead the commissioning process for new and existing PLC systems, ensuring they meet all operational requirements and standards
Prepare and maintain detailed technical documentation for all implemented systems and processes
Provide training and support to customer staff on the use and maintenance of PLC systems
Identify opportunities for system improvements and implement changes to enhance efficiency and performance

Required

Preferred bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, automation, related field or equivalent combination of education and direct work experience
5+ years direct experience preferred
Proven experience in PLC system implementation and commissioning
Strong knowledge of Profinet and other industrial communication protocols
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Travel required up to 60% of the time
Authorization to work in the U.S
Passport or ability to obtain passport
Professional office etiquette is required at all times
