Development Coordinator - Full Time

The Development Coordinator will perform a variety of administrative tasks to assist with fundraising initiatives and support the strategic fundraising priorities of the hospital, including maintaining the donor database and collaborating with marketing to promote fundraising objectives.

Responsibilities

Perform a variety of administrative tasks to assist with fundraising initiatives focused on the cultivation and solicitation of prospects and donors to help achieve the annual fundraising goals of OBMC
Support the strategic fundraising priorities of OBMC by facilitating the success of the hospital’s fundraising events, employee giving campaign and providing support in other areas of the hospital’s fundraising program as needed
Collaborate with OBMC Marketing and Public Relations to promote community-wide understanding and support for OBMC fundraising objectives
Maintain the donor database and actively participate in all committees and events
Communicate frequently with donors, prospects, board members, senior management, volunteers, community leaders, and others; and support the Chief of Staff and others as assigned

Required

High School Diploma or equivalent; relevant experience in lieu of High School Diploma/GED education will be considered
Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
Must have strong attention to detail
Ability to perform independently, self-motivated, takes initiative, organized and flexible
Experience and ability to interface effectively with all constituencies including prospects/donors, board members, volunteers, administrators, physicians, and staff
Strong experience in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred
One year office experience preferred
