Responsibilities

Collaborating on diverse projects in Water Resources, Hydrology/Hydraulics, and MS4
Working on various types of drainage, flood control, bridge hydraulic studies/designs, bridge scour analyses, and storm water management studies
Designing and creating contract plans for flood control and storm water infrastructure projects

Required

Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or related degree(s)
Professional Engineer in the State of Georgia and the ability to become licensed in other states in the Southeast US
10+ years of experience with technical work in Water Resources / Hydrology / Hydraulics
Strong leadership, communication, analytical skills, and ability to work in a team environment required
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills necessary with the ability to plan and conceptualize
Advanced knowledge of latest hydrologic and hydraulic computer modeling programs, including GIS-based applications, is required
Ability to perform a limited amount of field work, including drainage investigations, topographic surveying, drainage asset inventorying, etc. is required
Limited amount of travel may be required for some projects
Experience with technical report writing and working knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite are required

Preferred

Experience with HEC-RAS 1D/2D, SMS SRH2D, EPA-SWMM/PCSWMM 1D/2D, HEC-HMS, HydraFlow, HydroCAD, StormCAD, or equivalent programs is preferred
Experience with Bentley products (ORD, GEOPAK, InROADS, etc), AutoCAD, and/or ArcGIS is preferred
Experience working on GDOT projects is preferred
