Responsibilities

Support compliance with corporate governance obligations for all Tesla non-US foreign subsidiaries by working with local counsel to ensure affiliates are in good standing and meet necessary formalities such as board meetings and timely filing of annual accounts
Prepare and maintain corporate compliance documentation for Tesla foreign subsidiaries, drafting legal documents including board resolutions, intercompany funding agreements, and powers of attorney, while managing execution, filing, and organization in internal document management systems
Maintain and update the legal entity organizational chart, providing abbreviated or certified versions to internal stakeholders and third parties as needed
Assist with the formation of new legal entities, including granting signing authorities, updating board compositions, and changing registered addresses, while developing detailed step plans for establishing legal presence in new markets across EMEA, APAC, and the Americas
Support the execution of M&A transactions, new ventures, and entity integration or rationalization efforts
Coordinate with cross-functional teams and key stakeholders across global regions to ensure seamless operations
Provide comprehensive corporate legal administrative support to the Associate General Counsel, including word processing, data entry, meeting coordination, minute recording, and maintaining organized records of correspondence and documents

Required

Degree in Law (Bachelor's, Paralegal Certificate, or Law Degree), or equivalent experience
Minimum 7 years of corporate legal experience with a focus on corporate governance, subsidiary maintenance, general corporate housekeeping, and related tasks in a law firm or in-house legal department
Fluency in English with strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to manage multiple projects with competing priorities, and minimal supervision
Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize time and deadlines effectively
Capability to work in a complex, fast-paced, and demanding environment while building positive relationships with internal business functions and external advisors
Demonstrated maturity in judgment and a collaborative, enthusiastic approach to teamwork
