Responsibilities
Management of technical planning, budgeting, scheduling, directing resources, risk management, and reporting, for several sites undergoing remediation under the overall project
Interactions with customer representatives and internal HGL leadership and staff
Monthly project reporting/invoicing, schedule management and financial management
Providing leadership and oversight of HGL’s on-site staff for the project
Qualification
Required
Minimum 10 years of experience executing and managing remediation projects, including oversight of project teams, management of budget, schedule, safety, quality, technical performance, and customer satisfaction
BA/BS in Engineering, Science, or a related academic field. (MA/MS in a related field may decrease the years of experience required)
Excellent time management and organization skills, including the ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize and keep organized to ensure timely and accurate work
Ability to build consensus among leadership, internal, and external stakeholders through effective interpersonal communication and relationship building skills
Preferred
Experience working on U.S. federal contracts
Experience managing Cost Reimbursable projects
Experience on RCRA, CERCLA, or DoD projects
Leadership skills including prior experience mentoring and supervising staff
Contaminated soil and groundwater remediation experience
Current and valid 40-hr OSHA HAZWOPER certification, up to date annual 8-hr OSHA refresher certification (as applicable)
Professional credential (e.g., PE, PG and/or PMP)
