ACTIVITY AIDE/COORDINATOR

Intermountain Hospital is looking for a dynamic Activity Aide to work with a variety of patients. The Activity Aide is responsible for planning and implementing activity services for assigned programs, providing continuous patient care, observation, interaction, and role modeling to patients under the direction of the Director of the Activity Therapy Department.

Qualification

Psychiatric patient careNon-Violent Crisis InterventionFirst Aid/CPRTeam collaborationCommunication skills

Required

High School graduate required
One year of related experience
Knowledge of psychiatric patient care techniques
Understanding of mental illness
First Aid/CPR (we will train)
Non-Violent Crisis Intervention training prior to assisting with a restraining procedure and within 90 days of employment (we will providing training)

Preferred

Some college preferred
Experience with knowledge of psychiatric patient care techniques with understanding of mental illness preferred
