The successful candidate will facilitate the creation of detailed concrete models for projects and support Precon, Construction, and Field Operations while driving implementation of construction technology across the DPR Business Units.

Responsibilities

Facilitate the creation of detailed concrete models for projects across the Southeast

Support Precon, Construction, and Field Operations

Support regional and national VDC efforts

Push the model to the field

Train project members

Drive implementation of construction technology across the DPR Business Units

Communicate ideas and information orally and in written form

Configure project site to host BIM data or other equitable platforms

Effectively execute and multi-task VDC operations and processes on a single project

Required

Intermediate to proficient knowledge of Tekla Structures and Trimble Connect

Basic to Intermediate level software knowledge of Autodesk packages (i.e.: Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, etc.) or other relevant platforms

Basic to Intermediate knowledge of field layout workflows

Understanding of rebar or formwork modeling

Ability to quickly learn new software tools and train others

Ability to work in a flat-organization environment that requires full transparency, team collaboration, leading by influencing, and socialization of initiatives

Communicate ideas and information orally and written form

Configuring of project site to host BIM data (if applicable) or other equitable platforms

Effectively execute and multi-task VDC operations and processes on a single project

Engineering or construction related field

Concrete industry and processes

RFI's and submittal process

Tekla Structures experience is a must

Associates degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience in the AECO industry

2-4 years in the field of design, engineering, or construction

2-4 years' experience working a Precon, Operations, or VDC-related role
