Responsibilities

Provides quality care to patients
Assists with Interventional Radiology procedures proficiently with various physician types, Interventional Radiologists, Vascular Surgeons, Neurosurgeons to achieve desired outcomes
Participates in the growth and development of the DI department and contributes ideas
Brings ideas of improvement to the attention of Management
Plans, coordinates, and ensures quality care is provided to patients in the Interventional Radiology (IR) Department
Assists Interventional Radiologists, Vascular Surgeons, Neurosurgeons and Diagnostic Imaging RNs to achieve desired outcomes in IR
Provides guidance and participates in the development and growth of the IR department
Contributes to the development and training of IR Technologists
Contributes to operational processes in IR which include but not limited to patient schedule management, IR supply oversight, environment of care, Department of Health, Joint Commission inspections, Radiation Safety, Dosimetry, and policy development

Qualification

Washington Radiologic TechnologistNational Registered Technologist - RadiographyNational Provider BLSARRT Credentials in Vascular Interventional RadiographyCardiac catheterization experience

Required

Two years community college/vocational training in a certified radiological technologist training program. Or equivalent educ/experience
upon hire: Washington Radiologic Technologist
upon hire: National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
3 years of previous experience to include the equivalent of three years previous special procedures and or cardiac catheterization experience with responsibilities for assisting on Angiographic and other high risk procedures

Preferred

Healthcare related Bachelors Degree
ARRT Credentials in Vascular Interventional Radiography
1 year experience to include the equivalent of previous special procedures and/or cardiac catheterization experience with responsibilities for assisting on Angiographic and other high risk procedures
