Manager, Cost
LA28 is the organizing committee for the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games, aiming to deliver an unparalleled experience for athletes and fans. The Manager, Cost will oversee the costs and budgets for various venues, ensuring financial integrity and collaboration with different teams to manage project costs effectively.

Responsibilities
Prepare and manage the budgets across several venues in a sports cluster or group with the Venue Managers and Directors
Forecast cash flows with Finance, categorizing costs according to agreed reporting groups (commodities, partners, sports)
Review invoices in partnership with Venue Delivery teams
Prepare cash flows and reporting with Finance
Reconcile invoicing with contract terms and purchase orders
Review financial change orders and manage program budget categories
Qualification
Required
Minimum 5+ years' experience in project cost management or finance
Knowledge of key construction project financial processes and risk
Experience with infrastructure projects and/or sport and events delivery
Expert knowledge reporting tools such as Excel, Tableau, PowerBI
Adept at meetings facilitation, stakeholder management, and conflict resolution
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
Demonstrated commitment to co-creation and collaborative decision-making
Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities
