Responsibilities

Assist with the preparation of structural design calculations for tunnels, shafts, foundations, temporary excavation support systems, and other types of underground structures
Assist with the development of contract drawings and specifications
Assist with technical memoranda and other documents supporting the technical basis of designs
Assist with civil, geotechnical, and hydraulics engineers in solving highly multi-disciplinary design problems
Assist coordination with the AutoCAD technicians and other members of the drawing production team for the development of plans, sections, and details
Communicate effectively with other designer and construction management staff
Work on a variety of office and field assignments

Qualification

Civil EngineeringAutoCAD Civil 3DMicrosoft OfficeAnalytical SkillsTeamworkCommunication Skills

Required

Must be a currently enrolled college student working towards a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or similar program
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and AutoCAD Civil 3D programs
Candidates should be able to multi-task and prioritize work, have strong communication skills and be able to work in a team environment
Strong analytical and technical communication skills
