Responsibilities

Conduct financial analysis of business opportunities to meet and exceed revenue and profitability targets by executing annual and ongoing vendor negotiations
Have an understanding of customer needs and use that knowledge to advocate for, and drive delivery of, improvements that provide Amazon customers with an unparalleled shopping experience
Build vendor/brand relationships - be the primary point of contact for vendor selection on-boarding, escalations, and negotiations
Have a thorough understanding of the industry, business trends, events, and continually monitor both industry and competitor developments
Maximize Amazon’s business and financial profitability through selection optimization and expansion opportunities
Coordinate across cross-functional teams and communicate with internal and external stakeholders, all while meeting tight deadlines

Required

Are 18 years of age or older
Work 40 hours/week minimum and commit to 12 week internship maximum
Currently enrolled in MBA program at the time of application with anticipated graduation dates between December 1, 2026 and June 30, 2027

Preferred

3+ years of full-time industry work experience, which occurred between graduation from your undergraduate program and prior to starting your MBA program, OR 3+ years of military work experience prior to starting your MBA program
Background in retail, e-commerce, or supply chain management
Experience with financial modeling and strategic business planning
Knowledge of market research and competitive analysis techniques
Demonstrated leadership in academic or professional settings
Proficiency in advanced data visualization and analysis software
