They are seeking a strategic and forward-thinking Director of Site Civil Engineering to lead and grow their civil engineering teams, emphasizing mentorship, business development, and project excellence across the region.

Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and manage site civil engineering teams in Woodbury (Nassau County) and support Yonkers offices

Provide senior-level guidance to engineers on public and private sector projects, with emphasis on transportation and infrastructure

Work primarily out of our NYC office, with regular travel to Woodbury (Nassau County) and Yonkers required for team collaboration and oversight

Support the professional growth of junior engineers and technical staff through mentoring and knowledge sharing

Drive business development efforts with New York agencies such as NYSDOT, NYCDOT, NYCDDC, PANY/NJ, and surrounding counties

Strengthen client relationships and secure new opportunities through proposal writing and strategic outreach

Oversee planning, design, and delivery of projects that meet regulatory and client standards

Collaborate with stakeholders and regulatory bodies to ensure project success and market growth

Develop and implement long-term strategic plans for the division
