Responsibilities
Lead the design and development of HVAC systems for commercial projects
Utilize Revit and other design software to create detailed HVAC layouts and specifications
Conduct load calculations and energy modeling to optimize system performance
Collaborate with architects, electrical engineers, and other MEP professionals to ensure integrated design solutions
Review and approve technical drawings and documents to ensure compliance with industry standards
Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and drafting staff
Participate in client meetings to discuss project requirements and present design concepts
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in HVAC design, preferably in a commercial setting
Proficiency in Revit and other HVAC design software
Strong understanding of mechanical systems, energy efficiency, and building codes
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with clients and team members
