Art Center Sales and Customer Service Coordinator
One River School of Art & Design is seeking a part-time Sales and Customer Service Coordinator to work at their front desk. The role involves assisting with marketing, customer service, and administrative duties while fostering a positive environment for students and parents.
Education
Responsibilities
Assist with marketing by distributing rack cards in the community and following up on leads via phone, email and text
Answer phones, meet and greet students and parents at the front desk
Assist with Student Art Show hanging
Assist with Student Art Show reception preparation
Help run Birthday party events
Attend offsite events
In the Summer will document classroom activity and upload photos in to Padlet (training given)
Assist with any administrative duties that are required
Qualification
Required
Thoughtful communication skills
Detail oriented, self-starter, well organized, able to organize set weekly priorities and goals for assigned tasks
Some weekend availability required
1+ customer service experience
A demonstrated interest in visual arts (studying visual arts in college or taking fine art classes etc.)
Preferred
Familiar with G-Suite (Gmail, Drive, Sheets, Forms, etc.)
Familiar with Graphic Design, but not required (i.e Canva, Adobe Photoshop etc.)
Familiar with platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and local Westchester Blogs
Any interest or experience in art education or museum education
