SEC Reporting Senior Accountant

Responsibilities

Prepare SEC filings (Forms 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K), including drafting financial statements, footnotes, and MD&A, and coordinate with cross-functional teams on other various filings (Proxy, Form 3s, Form 4s, etc.)
Coordinate with external auditors during quarterly reviews and annual audits to provide tie-out support packages and support for internal controls over financial reporting
Work with the Accounting Policy & SOX Manager to monitor changes in FASB standards and SEC regulations to assess the impact on the Company’s external financial reporting
Work to develop, drive, and maintain processes for external reporting
Prepare financial reporting packages for management and the audit committee
Ensure compliance with internal controls and SOX requirements, including completion, evidence of review, and retention of documentation
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., treasury, investor relations, legal, FP&A, and HR) to gather and analyze financial data for financial reporting purposes
Other duties as assigned

Required

Minimum 3-6 years' experience, including public accounting and/or external financial reporting for a publicly traded company
Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting processes
Experience with external reporting platforms (i.e., Wdesk)
Must have working knowledge of standard office software (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
CPA, or pursuing a CPA license
