The Product Validation Engineer will be responsible for productization of SiTime’s timing devices, ensuring system-level performance and collaborating across teams to solve complex timing challenges.

Responsibilities

Validation, characterization, and release-to-production of MEMS-based timing products
Work with MEMS and circuit design teams to evaluate new silicon and recommend design improvements for enhanced performance
Design, develop, and validate PCB test platforms and firmware to enable automated data acquisition & analysis
Develop and transfer algorithms to final test and production environments
Perform engineering failure analysis to root cause product issues
Innovate and prototype system architectures and new technologies for next-generation products

Required

MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
Strong, fundamental knowledge of mixed signal circuits
Hands-on experience with electronics lab instrumentation
Excellent programming skills and prior experience with MATLAB and/or Python
Strong statistical analysis skills

Preferred

Prior experience with metrology systems for evaluating timing parameters
