Manufacturing Engineer

The Manufacturing Engineer I will contribute to process development, quality improvement, and productivity enhancement in an aerospace manufacturing environment while collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet customer specifications.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement efficient manufacturing process plans with guidance from senior engineers, specifying sequence, technique, equipment, and tooling requirements
Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and sketches to ensure product compliance with customer requirements
Assist in process capability analysis for CNC Program generation or changes
Support the design and engineering of tooling for manufacturing processes
Work closely with shop floor associates to troubleshoot and resolve production challenges
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives such as Kaizen or Six Sigma to optimize processes
Review and recommend modifications to customer blueprints and other documentation with supervision
Maintain compliance with Pursuit Aerospace’s quality systems, safety protocols, and operational standards

Required

Bachelor's degree in Engineering
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis without sponsorship now or in the future. The Company cannot offer employment to visa holders who require employer sponsorship in the future or cannot work now on a full-time basis
Must be able to perform work subject to ITAR/EAR regulations

Preferred

At least 1 year of manufacturing engineering experience
Experience working in an AS9100 environment
Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Aerospace Engineering degree is preferred
Proficiency in reading engineering drawings and technical documents
Familiarity with CNC programming and tooling design
Basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles
Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
Proficiency in CAD software and Microsoft Office Suite
