Sales Manager (Grocery-West)
Samyang America, Inc. is a company that focuses on client satisfaction and brand presence in the grocery sector. The Sales Manager (Grocery - West) will develop business plans and execute strategies with assigned retailers to drive brand growth and client engagement.

Responsibilities
Customers within a given geographic region (West), including a complete understanding of their goals and objectives
Present targeted strategic plans to build effective and efficient brand promotion strategies and strengthen brand activation based on customer knowledge
Accountable for the execution of strategic plans for all brands to Retailers within the defined geography. Key areas include sales, share, distribution, promotion, pricing, merchandising, demand planning, and financial management
Responsible for ongoing Mainstream Team communication, engaging in proactive, ongoing communications to provide status, opportunities, manage expectations, and needs associated with the achievement of Samyang America’s Business plan
Owns the communication and transfer of knowledge about Customer changes and insights to drive understanding across relevant Samyang America cross-functional teams, understanding the importance of being the “customer experts.”
Consistently and exclusively use Samyang weekly reporting tools as the business planning, communication and execution framework to drive consistency and efficiency internally, as well as visibility and intelligence to the leadership team and across positions internally
Assist administrative support, FPA, logistics, marketing, and others in the development of targeted strategic Customer plans to build effective and efficient brand promotion strategies and strengthen brand activation based on customer knowledge
Sells our brands through analysis, understanding of Retailer’s strategy, performance insights, coupled with Samyang America’s performance by brand and/or category
Provides feedback and assists in preparation for Business Reviews, and participates in the presentation with brokers and stakeholders

Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field preferred, or equivalent work experience
8 - 10 years of experience in key account management, sales, or category management within the CPG or food industry
Proven success in consultative selling, negotiation, and insights-based sales strategies
Strong understanding of financial structures including P&L planning, promotional forecasting, sales and lift forecasts, and inventory planning for promotions
Proficiency in Circana (IRI/Nielsen) or similar syndicated market data tools
Microsoft Office skills, including Excel (pivot tables), Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Excellent communication skills - written, verbal, listening, presenting
Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work cross-functionally with brokers, retailers, clients, and internal teams
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Ability to travel within the U.S. for customer, client, or company meetings as needed
A valid driver's license
Preferred
Korean language skills are a plus, but not required
