Responsibilities

General Dynamics Mission Systems has an opening for a Manufacturing Leadership Program (MLP) Engineer - Class of 2026 to join our team in Canonsburg, Pennsylvania
The position provides an opportunity to develop and advance the cutting-edge technology that supports some of our nation's fundamental defense services
The selected candidate will work with collaborative teams to design and produce the state-of-the-art products that support General Dynamics Mission Systems and our clients
Manufacturing Leadership Program (MLP) Engineers on our Manufacturing team develop, implement and maintain the methods, operation sequences and processes used in General Dynamics Mission Systems production
This involves the fabrication of parts, components, sub-assemblies and final assemblies
The employee is also responsible for estimating manufacturing costs, determining project time standards, and recommending the tools and processes that accompany new and existing product lines
Additionally, the selected candidate will provide guidance to fellow engineers, helping them to enhance organizational design concepts and manufacturing techniques
Practice creative thinking and ideation to advance our business performance
Deliver innovative, flexible, integrated solutions to meet customers changing business needs
Support and engage in programs, projects and practices behind the GDMS culture and strategy, and comply with all policies and procedures
Follow industry and department trends and developments to ensure GDMS services are consistent with, and/or superior to, industry best practices
Candidates must show a passion for innovation, a sophisticated understanding of emerging technologies, and the ability to effectively manage, grow and evolve GDMS technology

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is required for site specific!
