Responsibilities
Actively assist in coordination of the day-to-day activities in the assigned Service Line
Take a leading role in servicing orienting new staff
Performance improvement, scheduling, and working with physicians for improved outcome
Precept new employees
Ensure effective communication with the physicians, circulating nurses, surgical technicians, ancillary staff, and patients to maintain an environment conducive to the patients well-being
Qualification
Required
Good Organizational Skills
Acute Care Experience
BLS Certification
Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties
Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System
Preferred
Surgical Tech Certificate
Minimum 5 years experience in Service Line assigned to
Graduate from Accredited Surgical Tech Program
Completion of medical terminology class or knowledge of medical terms
Computer knowledge
High School Diploma or GED
Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures and forms
