Anatomy & Physiology Lab Teaching Assistant

The College of St. Scholastica is seeking an Anatomy & Physiology Lab Teaching Assistant to assist lab instructors with teaching responsibilities for BIO 2510 & BIO 2520 students. The role involves grading assignments, communicating with students, and maintaining lab spaces.

Responsibilities

Grade & alphabetize anatomy and/or physiology assignments/quizzes and anatomy lab practical
Effectively communicate and problem solve with students for various concepts in anatomy and physiology
Encourage effective learning strategies for students
Cleaning and organizing lab and classroom spaces
Maintaining donor bodies in anatomy lab (if TAing for review hours or anatomy labs)

Anatomy knowledgePhysiology knowledgeIndependent workFlexibilityCommunication skills

Required

Must be a CSS student
Completed BIO 2510 & BIO 2520 at CSS
Ability to work independently
Being flexible as needed

Preferred

Ability to lift over 50 pounds (when moving donor bodies from prone [face down] to supine [face up)
Federal Work Study eligibility preferred
