R.C. Systems LLC is a leading innovator in fire and gas safety worldwide. They are seeking a Service and Commissioning Engineer to service, repair, and commission fire and safety systems onboard cruise ships, providing technical support and assistance as needed.

Responsibilities

Service and repair work onboard ships (mainly cruise ships)
Commissioning work at shipyards in Europe (newbuilds, cruise ships)
Technical services and remote assistance to customers, partners and colleagues
Travelling in USA, but also globally when it is required
Work preparation (problem description, documentation, software)
Work closing (signed service report, customer satisfaction, prepare documents for invoicing)
Store backup SW & other relevant system documentation

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's degree in IT (Networks), System integration or similar
Experience with programming
Direct experience with maritime electrical systems
Technical mindset and analytical skills and the ability to work under pressure
Fluent in English, both oral and written
