Responsibilities
Perform design of experiments to redesign systems creating chronic issues and develop sustainable solutions
Maintain and update all documentation for machine centers, as needed (Schematics, manuals, PLC Program, networking devices)
Source parts through schematics, spare parts manual, and parts attendant
Make recommendations on spare parts for internal inventory
Create work orders through D365 and add all parts required for the scope of work to be performed
Troubleshoot all issues related to operations including PLC communication, RsLogix 5000 or Siemens platform
Make suggestions/recommendations on process improvements and present to the Engineering Department
Schedule downtime repairs with packaging, maintenance, and project manager/supervisors
Work hand-in-hand with OEM technicians and utilize all resources to eliminate downtime
Demonstrate leadership skills by teaching operators with how to perform operator PM's
Participates in plant safety, health, and environmental programs
Closely collaborate with manufacturing and engineering team to clearly define engineering acceptance standards and specifications based on the voice of customer
Validate and characterize new processes, equipment and fixtures for production implementation focused on damage-free
Create detailed manufacturing instructions to document engineering critical characteristics
Collaborate with the Quality, Manufacturing and Maintenance Managers to reduce and eliminate downtime contained on the single agenda
Perform BDA and RCA's for issues that arise from the production floor
Incorporate Lean Manufacturing best practices and working in a culture focused on continuous improvement

Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or another related field
SolidWorks experience required
Ability to handle ambiguity and work in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment
Proficiency in English: Comfortable with both written and verbal communication, including reading and writing
Preferred
Aseptic filling experience preferred
Experience programming PLC, specifically RsLogix 5000 preferred
