Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain automated and semi-automated equipment to maximize uptime and minimize disruptions
Diagnose and resolve issues across electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and PLC-controlled systems
Partner with engineers and operators to optimize cycle times, boost equipment reliability, and elevate product quality
Train operators and maintenance staff on proper equipment use, troubleshooting techniques, and best practices for safety and efficiency
Support grinding operations (CNC or manual), perform cleanroom maintenance, and ensure compliance with strict quality and environmental standards
Assist in the installation, startup, and validation of new or modified automation systems

Required

Associate degree or technical diploma in Electro-Mechanical Technology, Automation, Mechatronics, or related field — or equivalent experience
3+ years of hands-on experience in automated manufacturing (custom or integrated systems preferred)
Solid skills with PLC systems, sensors, actuators, and HMI interfaces
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting ability
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
Flexibility to support off-shift or weekend troubleshooting as needed

Preferred

Experience with grinding processes (manual or CNC) strongly preferred
Previous work in ISO 13485 / medical device or cleanroom environments a plus
