Boston Government Services, LLC (BGS) is seeking a Shift Technical Advisor to join their team. This role involves ensuring the safe operation of production areas, troubleshooting operational issues, and performing technical assessments related to safety and facility operations.

Responsibilities

Ensures safe operation of the production areas in accordance with safety basis requirements and provides interface with numerous support organization including, but not limited to fire protection, PSS office, health, and safety environmental, and criticality safety

Troubleshoots various operations issues, abnormal conditions, anomalies, and out-of-specification products

Determines the cause of operations issues, devises guidelines for data gathering, provides recommendations, and oversees corrections and modifications

Evaluates proposed process equipment documentation against approved safety authorization basis and processes unreviewed safety question determinations

Performs technical assessments of operations in regard to safety basis and operation of the facility

Prepares and provides technical presentations and reports concerning operations to plant management, The National Nuclear Security Administration, and other outside organizations

Required

BA/BS Degree plus 0 - 4 years of direct experience required, or MS with 0 - 3 years' experience

Individuals that do not have a BA or BS degree will be considered on a two (2) to one (1) basis; two (2) years' experience will equal one (1) year of education or possessing relevant task-specific years' experience deemed acceptable by the Client

Successful drug screening

Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a security or clearance badge

Preferred

BA/BS Degree in a technical discipline, plus 18 years plus of direct experience required, or an MS with 15 years' experience
