Responsibilities

Collaborate with the hiring manager and cross-functional teams to understand the material and manufacturing limitations associated with welding/gluing/slitting non-woven sheet materials

Take daily direction from the hiring manager to conduct research, perform experiments, and analyze data to develop innovative approaches for methods of continuous roll manufactured products

Prototype and test different methods of slitting the non-woven sheet materials to enable easy tear-off for consumers at different sizes

Optimize the tuft layer of the pads to ensure that the spacing and tear operation leave ample free tuft at the edge of the torn-off pad, as tuft is critical for effective particle pickup during mopping

Monitor and document the results of experiments and tests, maintaining accurate records of findings and observations

Collaborate with manufacturing engineers to incorporate insights related to future scale up of successful approaches, ensuring seamless integration into the production process
