This role involves managing and designing utility infrastructure projects, focusing on project management and design support for water, sanitary sewer, and storm sewer improvements for the City of Philadelphia’s utility infrastructure replacement and upgrade program.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage projects related to drinking water, wastewater, and stormwater systems

Provide design support for linear water, sanitary sewer, and storm sewer infrastructure upgrades

Oversee construction administration and ensure compliance with project requirements

Prepare technical reports, studies, and project documentation

Track and manage financial performance of assigned projects

Coordinate workload and provide mentorship to junior staff

Participate in client meetings, ensuring strong communication and collaboration

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering required

7+ years of related experience in water process, treatment, and/or utility infrastructure projects

Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D required

Experience with MS Office and MS Project (MS Access a plus)

Strong communication and client-interaction skills

Preferred

Professional Engineer (PE) license strongly preferred

At least 2 years of project management experience strongly preferred
