Senior Account Manager (Pharma/Tradeshows)

In this role, you’ll lead high-value pharmaceutical accounts, guiding complex programs while mentoring rising stars and helping the agency grow.

Responsibilities

Serve as the go-to advisor for key healthcare/pharma clients
Build strong, long-term relationships grounded in trust, delivery, and strategic value
Develop account retention plans and uncover new growth opportunities within existing clients
Lead client onboarding, business reviews, and the day-to-day touchpoints that keep relationships strong
Collaborate with Sales and Account Directors on RFPs, pitch decks, and business development
Own full lifecycle execution of complex experiential programs—live, virtual, or hybrid
Align cross-functional teams to ensure all deliverables hit the mark and timelines stay intact
Liaise with Estimating, Field Services, and Fulfillment to ensure nothing gets missed
Navigate event logistics, compliance, and show regulations with ease
Take full ownership of project budgets
Confidently scope and price repeat programs; partner with Estimating on new initiatives
Keep project records clean—from quoting to invoicing—using internal tools and systems
Work closely with Finance to ensure smooth, accurate billing and account health
Coach and develop Account Managers and Coordinators—you’re a role model and mentor
Help create development plans, foster a growth-minded team culture, and support internal promotions
Share best practices and collaborate cross-functionally to raise the bar across the team
Assist in onboarding and growing the department as new talent joins

Required

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field
2–5+ years managing complex experiential programs—agency experience strongly preferred
Proven experience working in pharmaceutical or healthcare marketing
Skilled at juggling multiple programs with precision and grace under pressure
Exceptional communication skills, from executive presentations to team updates
Comfortable using Microsoft Office and project management software

Preferred

Experience with global program management or digital/hybrid event execution
A portfolio of client case studies with clear metrics and outcomes
An entrepreneurial mindset and a passion for creating bold, breakthrough solutions
