EMH&T is looking for a Senior Civil Engineer, PE to join their team as a Project Manager in the Transportation Planning and Design division. The role involves assisting with all aspects of project development and plan preparation, focusing on design or redesign of highways, drainage design, and coordination with regulatory agencies.

Responsibilities

Assist with all aspects of project development and subsequent plan preparation using drafting and engineering design techniques to meet client needs
Involve in design or redesign of highways/roadways, interchange design, drainage design, plan reviews, and coordination with public regulatory agencies and utility companies
Act as a technical lead within a team environment, including checking of plan/calculation

Required

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a concentration in Transportation Engineering
Professionally licensed in Ohio
10+ years work experience in the civil engineering is required, experience with ODOT preferred
Attention to detail, organizational and follow up capabilities
Flexibility and adaptability to shifting priorities
Demonstrated oral and written communications; strong work ethic
Creative application of technology to tasks and to solve problems
Ability to act as a technical lead within a team environment, including checking of plan/calculation
Planning and organization capabilities with high attention to details; ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines; manage time effectively
Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to express ideas clearly
Familiarity with CAD and design software, including: MicroStation and GEOPAK/OpenRoads Designer (ORD)
