Responsibilities
Perform spatial analysis, data editing, and visualization using ArcGIS Pro
Develop and maintain GIS databases; manage geospatial data using PostgreSQL/PostGIS, SQL Server, or Oracle with SDE
Automate GIS workflows using Python scripting and ArcPy
Support web GIS application development and system administration of ArcGIS software
Assist with GeoEvent Server management and real-time data processing
Contribute to technical documentation and workflow improvements
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Geographic Information Systems, Geography, or 8 years' military experience in a related field
At least eight years' experience with installation, configuration, operation, and limitations of ArcGIS Enterprise (Portal, Operations Dashboard, GeoEvent Server), including producing web maps/apps/dashboards and using GeoEvent adapters for geospatial feeds. (At least one Mid-level Analyst must meet this requirement, shared with Senior Analyst)
At least eight years' experience in mobility modeling (time/distance/likelihood) spatial analysis pertaining to adversary weapon systems movement and knowledge of influential factors. (At least one Mid-level Analyst must meet this requirement, shared with Senior Analyst)
At least three years' proficiency with Environmental Systems Research Institute's ArcGIS Enterprise software, knowledge of Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC) standards, and familiarity with current USSTRATCOM GIS systems and processes to include Machine Learning and Automation concepts
At least three years' experience with relational database management and Python scripting, including connecting with dynamic streaming data (JSON, GeoJSON, XML, CSV, RESTEND). (At least one Mid-level Analyst must meet this requirement, shared with Senior Analyst)
Minimum 3 years' GIS experience, with expertise in ArcGIS Pro, spatial analysis, and web GIS applications
At least three years' relevant experience and education in geospatial sciences performing spatial analysis
Proficiency in ArcGIS Enterprise Portal, ArcGIS Pro, GeoEvent Server, ArcPy, and Python scripting; experience with DoD IT security standards (DISA STIGs, FedRAMP) and spatial databases (PostgreSQL/PostGIS, SQL Server)
Demonstrated experience with dynamic data connections (REST API and others) and system integration
Ability to travel to technical exchanges and industry conferences
At least one Mid-level or Senior Analyst must possess current Security+ certification and obtain a DIA/DoD privileged user account
