OneOncology is a national partnership of leading independent community oncology practices, and they are seeking an Advanced Practice Provider for their Tennessee Oncology division. In this role, you will provide night coverage for the inpatient unit, managing complex cases and ensuring continuity of care for patients with hematologic and oncologic diagnoses.

Responsibilities

Provide night coverage at the Ascension Saint Thomas Midtown Blood Cancer inpatient unit in Nashville, TN

Receive handoff from the daytime APP team for continuity of care

Support inpatient RNs and admit after-hours patients with the assistance of the hospitalist team

Monitor labs throughout the night to ensure patient stability until the daytime team resumes care

Care for hospitalized patients with hematologic and oncologic diagnoses, addressing complications of their malignancy, treatment side effects, palliative care needs, and chemotherapy administration

Provide occasional PTO coverage for other night APPs and may support daytime APPs as needed

Required

Prior experience practicing as an NP or PA required

Hospitalist experience required, with ability to manage complex inpatient cases

Skilled in clinical assessment, acute care management, and patient stabilization

Ability to work independently while maintaining strong collaboration with physicians, APPs, RNs, and hospital staff

Preferred

Hematology/Oncology experience strongly preferred
