Responsibilities
Develop a strategy for a new technical foundation based on using AI/LLMs to innovate in ad formats
Design a technical solution that enables the organization to A/B test new ad formats and placements quickly and iterate
Evangelize the use of LLMs and AI in software development in the broader organization
Collaborate with Media, Video and Events teams on generating new clips and ad variations to test as ads
Drive key decisions related to model selection, training, evaluation, and fine tuning
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence
Qualification
Required
At least two years as a Technical Lead, Staff Engineer, Principal Engineer, or equivalent
5+ years of overall industry experience in AI or Machine Learning Engineering
BA/BS Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline or equivalent practical experience
Preferred
10+ years of overall industry/research experience in AI and/or Machine Learning
PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field
Expert-level understanding of leading Generative AI (GAI) solutions, along with deep expertise in topics such as model selection and deep learning / reinforcement learning and their application to model training in language-based environments
Strong programming skills in Python and relevant deep learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch)
Proven ability to build models that accurately interpret and follow complex, nuanced instructions (zero-shot or few-shot)
Prior experience in the Ads domain
