They are looking for a Substation Engineer to join their team, responsible for creating and modifying design drawings, performing calculations, and coordinating with other disciplines.

Responsibilities
Create and modify protection and control design drawings including, but not limited to one-lines, three-lines, AC schematics, DC schematics, communication drawings, wiring diagrams, etc
Create and modify physical drawings including plan and section views, yard layouts, bill of material lists, grounding drawings, etc
Perform calculations such as battery sizing, AC loading, voltage drop, conduit fill, lightning protection, lighting design, and ground grid studies
Perform reviews of Substation Engineers an Designers work to ensure they meet code, customer requirements, and good engineering practices
Coordinate with other disciplines such as project management and civil engineering teams
Interface with client’s engineering groups and project management team to provide regular and timely updates
Review manufacturer drawings
Incorporate red line drawings from the field to as-builts
Update design leads or project managers on project status as needed
Perform site visits when necessary
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Civil Engineering at an ABET accredited university
5+ years of experience as a Substation Engineer
EIT Certification with the intention to pursue PE license (PE preferred)
Ability to travel 10-20% (project specific)
